C.A.R.E. for Animals is one of my favorite charities in the Little Rock area. They foster animals and find them permanent homes so they do not have to go to the Humane Society (where bad things can happen). They also give "scholarships" to help pet-owners with the costs of spaying and neutering their pet. When we found Roscoe in September, C.A.R.E. helped us out by subsidizing his first vet visit.
In October, C.A.R.E. had their annual "Paws on the Runway" fundraiser. To pay back their kindness to us in September, I bid on a Sushi Party at the silent auction. Wes and I were very excited when I won the item! So, we got to invite eight of our buds to Stephano's Art Gallery for our own private Sushi and Libations party. If you have never been to Stephano's in the Heights, you must stop in to see all of the wonderful art. It was such a wonderful evening with friends.
