Yes, I have sorely neglected the blog this summer. My apologies to the faithful readers of The New Ward Times, but we have been having too much fun! In honor of the fun, this entry will be a summer retro recap. Enjoy and hope to be back to our regular submissions soon!

June: Edie comes home and fun with visitors!

Edie's arrival and homecoming was a fun adjustment for the Ward family. Violet stayed home (as did Daddy) the first week and we all began to get acclimated to our new family of 4! We had wonderful family and friends stop by and bring yummy meals. We are so blessed to be so loved. Thanks to all!

After the waiting and waiting and waiting, two days past her due date, Miss Edie Rose arrived after a little bit of labor to a whole lot of love. She was born June 20th at 9:46 p.m. weighing 7lbs, 7oz and a whopping 22 inches long! Violet is a very proud and wonderful big sister and life at the Ward home is settling into a family of 4 (7 if you count Macy, Roscoe, and Miles!) Edie is a wonderful, sweet baby and we know how lucky and blessed we are for this. Thank you to all of our family and friends that have visited and showered Edie with love in the first couple of weeks of her life. of 4!

Our nephew, Trent Robert, arrived June 8th in a fast and furious manner. He is such a doll and we are excited that he is finally here and healthy. He better be ready, Hallie, Violet and Edie have outnumbered the little guy! The Henderson family is all well and Hallie is a proud big sis.

Welcome Trent! Does he look like his family or what?
