Travel and Family Fun: Island Heights and Manhattan Island!

We took Violet to meet her Nana and Grandpa Worthington, Uncle Theo, Uncle Chuck and Aunt Rebecca in Island Heights last weekend. She had an absolute blast!! We went to the Jersey Shore (boardwalk baby!) and to some fabulous restaurants. We also had the Worthington tradition of baked ziti (soooo good!. On Saturday, we took her into the city for some fun in Central Park. She absolutely loved it. We are so lucky our little gal is such a wonderful traveler! Thanks to all the Worthington's for a fabulous vacation! We love you!

Holiday Hooplah! Mother's Day!

Mother's Day was absolutely fantastic. I got to sleep in until 9 a.m. (a miracle!), followed by waking up to gorgeous flowers in the kitchen and a delicious pancake breakfast. Add the fact that I love being a mom and have the best baby in the world and wa-la...wonderful Mother's Day. Added bonus: Uncle Tony and Aunt Serena gave me a gorgeous first Mother's Day plant :). Cheers to moms everywhere!

What the heck...we will throw one in with dad too. What a face!

Fun times: New Swing set!

My Mimi (who I miss so much) wanted each of the great-grand kids to have a swing set. At our baby shower last summer, my aunt gave us a card with some cash from Mimi (for the swing set). So, for Violet's christening we fulfilled Mimi's wish and bought her a swing set. After the festivities Wes and Popi put together Vi's fun swing set! She loves it and loves to swing. Miss and love you Mimi!

Social Events/Milestones: Violet Jean Ward's Christening

On Saturday, May 8th, we had a wonderful Christening ceremony is Allsop Park for Violet. We were joined by over 50 wonderful family and friends for this special day. The weather could not have been better. The ceremony was beautiful and Will did a fabulous job. After the ceremony, we enjoyed a delicious lunch reception at US Pizza. It was perfect. Thank you to all who love and support us and our little Violet.

Milestones: Violet turns 8 months!

Our little lady is a whopping 8 months old! She is such a joy! She has also been on the move reaching several "milestones" in the past couple of weeks. Violet is crawling everywhere, pulling up to stand and cruising on furniture. The little gal is on the move! Stay tuned because there is lots of fun ahead.
