We cannot believe our little girl is one month old today. People say that "they grow so fast" and "time flies when they are little" and we now believe them 100%. Violet is such a wonderful baby. She wakes up maybe twice during the night (granted we are night owls and go to bed late). She is more alert during the day, holding her head up and looking around at the world. She loves lights. She can gaze up at lights all day and evening (when she is not napping, of course!). The love we have for her is unbelievable and we are so glad to have her in our lives. Macy, Roscoe and Miles are also adjusting well to having Violet around and they love her very much. I was afraid they would be jealous or not want anything to do with us or Vi, but they love her and still love us :).For the big birthday, Wes brought home yummy cupcakes from Cupcakes on Kavanaugh. They were so delicious...I wish Violet could have really enjoyed one. She will soon enough though (especially if she has her mommy's sweet tooth)! We will keep you posted on the blog during the month, but we are going to start celebrating monthly during her first year. Stay tuned for more Violet updates and fun family events. We love you all and are so glad to have all of you as part of Violet's life.
