Milestones: Case turns 1!

Our great friends, Chuck and Helen, invited us to celebrate their little one, Case's big first birthday last weekend. It was so much fun! I cannot believe Case is already one...time is flying by! Our little Violet will be there before we know it. We love Mr. Case and enjoyed our afternoon with him and the family.

Family Living: First Family Photos!

We took our first family photos at the Old Mill Saturday. Our dear friend, Jessica McSpadden, spent her Saturday afternoon being the best photog in the world. Thanks Jessica! These are pics of just the human part of the family, the furry kids are not fans of the camera! Our little Violet is growing so fast. Check out her cowgirl boots Grammie and Popi got her!!! They are..heelarious. Of course, just when things were getting warmed up, our little gal fell asleep. She had a surge at the end of the shoot, just in time for some more cute pics, of her! Milestones: Violet turns 2 months!

Check out our big girl!

We cannot believe we are at this milestone. Our little gal turned two months Sunday. It has gone by so fast and she is such a joy in our lives. We went to her two month check up today and we have a healthy, growing girl on our hands. She weighed in at 9lbs almost 8oz and 22 inches long. We love her so much and feel so lucky and blessed.

Holiday Hooplah! Happy Halloween!

We had a pretty low-key Halloween, but it was still much fun. We sold pumpkins at the church pumpkin patch early in the afternoon and then had fun greeting trick-or-treaters at the house. Violet was a PEZ dispenser (idea courtesy of her dad), Macy was a witch and Roscoe was a superhero. Miles is his own boss, no costume needed. Hope everyone had a fun Halloween!

Milestones: Macy turns 8!

My first born, Macy J., turned 8 last Monday. The vet told me she is entering her geriatric phase of life which makes me sad. I have had Macy since she was 6 weeks old and picked her out when she was only 2 weeks. She was the runt of four pups and I knew she was the one for me. She is a good dog, needy, but good. Her last report at the vet showed she had a little bit of a fatty liver, so instead of Happy Meals, Wes bought her a 26 inch rawhide bone for she and Roscoe. She also got a lottery ticket but did not win (hey, she has to try and earn her keep!).
