Social Events: Family Shower at Oak Street Bistro.

Mom and Dad threw Serena and I a fabulous family (and some bff's) shower at Oak Street Bistro in Conway. It was WONDERFUL and we were so blessed being "showered" with wonderful things for Trent and Edie. Violet and Hallie had a blast as well! Thanks Grammie and Popi!

Babymoon 2: Grand Cayman Island!

Wes and I had a wonderful Babymoon 2 in Grand Cayman Island. Our friends and really other family, Ruth and Charlie let us crash at their gorgeous condo and we had such a relaxing time. Lots of sleep was needed to gear up for the arrival of Edie with the energetic pairing of Miss Violet. Edie will be here very, very soon! Violet had a blast at Grammie and Popi's and probably did not even notice we were gone for a week :). Hope you enjoy the photos of fun!

Charity Events and Family Fun Day! TourdeCure and a trip to the LR Zoo!

The Saturday before our babymoon, Wes rode 50 miles in the American Diabetes Association TourdeCure. He also raised the most money of all of the individuals in the event! Vi and I are soooo proud of him and had fun hanging out cheering Daddy on!

On Sunday, we had family fun day at the Little Rock Zoo. Violet loved it and thought the penguins were hilarious! We had fun all day with our little gal. Honestly, it is hard not too! Overall, she is growing too fast. She knows lots of words and sentences and is even testing out the potty! We are so amazed at her every day. She is also excited about Edie and likes to point and kiss Mommie's belly. We love our girls!

Family Fun Day! Heifer Village

It was a cold, rainy Saturday so we took Violet to Heifer Village for Family Day. She had a blast coloring, making a collage and matching countries on the big map. Of course, Violet also loved running around like a wild child exploring the exhibits. She is so fun and full of life!!!

Family Fun Day! Wye Mountain Daffodil Festival

Grammie wanted to take the girls to the Wye Mountain Daffodil Festival so we made it a Henderson Family Fun Day and all bundled up to meet at the festival! Shannon, Cary and Emmy (Violet's godparents) also joined us which made it even more fun. The girls ran around in the flowers and then we all had a yummy picnic lunch (provided by Grammie and Popi!). Such a fun day!

Social Events: The Pengiuns are here!

We were so excited about the arrival of the penguins at the Little Rock Zoo! Violet loves the zoo, so we have a membership, which gave us the great opportunity to attend a members' after hours event to see the penguins. It was great and she loves them! She even does her own penguin dance :). March! March! March!

Holiday Hooplah: Valentine's Day!

Yes, so Easter is staring us in the face this weekend and I am just now getting to Valentine's Day! Where does the time go? Violet had a blast. We did Chocolate Festival at Whole Foods, cupcake Sunday and Hallie came for a Valentine's visit and Valentine's pancake Monday! It was so much fun. She is so full of life, it makes every day a holiday.
