Likes: Bottles, MumMums, pears, apples, peas, carrots, big fluffy duckies, poot noises, looking in the mirror, dj walker, rolling places, laughing, airplane rides, Macy, Roscoe, Miles, walks with mom and dad, hanging out with family

Dislikes: Teething, peaches (really all citrus fruits), not being able to get to where I need to be, shots, reaching the top of the bed with no where else to go, Macy and Roscoe stealing my MumMums.

Where I see myself at 8 months: crawling faster, standing, eating legumes, two more teeth and traveling to NYC.

Grammie's Egg! "Children Understand"

Grammie had an egg in Youth Home's Eggshibition for the second year in a row! We had to go and celebrate this great honor and help a wonderful cause. Hallie got to enjoy the festivities with us and it was a blast. Wes (he is too creative) made iron-ons for the girls t-shirt. It has a picture of mom's egg and read "Grammie's Good Egg". They were a hit! It was such a fun evening (although Violet did not feel her best because she had one tooth in and one coming through). We are so proud of Grammie!

Business Review: Violet's 6 month pictures!

Violet is no stranger to taking pictures. Her daddy makes sure he gets 1 photo every day (this is just for the 1st year). But, we decided we needed some professional pictures of Miss Vi. So, we went to Portrait Innovations in The Promenade of Chenal. I wasn't sure since it is a chain studio, but the pictures turned out WONDERFUL! I highly suggest this one stop shop for pictures. Here are just a few of our little flower.

Fun times: Grammie and Mommy's Marathon

In a previous life, I ran three marathons (painful, but that good kind of pain :)). After baby? Hmmmm..I don't think so. But to get back in shape from Miss Vi, I asked my mom (Grammie) to walk/jog the Little Rock Marathon with me. She was up for the challenge, of course. There are not many challenges my mom will not take. We trained from October until the big day (March 7th) and had some good times. Violet loved it as well, since she saw Grammie almost every weekend! Finally, the big day came and we finished our 26.2 miles with good timing and good times with friends and family. Thank you everyone who gave their love and support throughout our training and race day (especially Dad and Wes)!

Milestones: Violet turns 6 months!

Really? The first 6 months are already over? Violet is such a character. Her personality comes through more every day and it is hysterical. She is such a ham! The best is yet to come as she babbles more every day, laughs, smiles and becomes more mobile. Our little lady is growing up (too fast in our eyes)!
